Five Poems

Oscar Velazquez is an Anaheim-based poet whose work draws inspiration from his past, his Mexican-American heritage, and his keen observations of the world around him. He has performed at such notable venues as The Cheech Chicano Art Museum, Boca De Oro Santa Ana’s Literary Fest, and the MUZEO Museum in Anaheim. Through his raw and uncensored style, Oscar transforms adversity into artistic expression. He writes with honesty and always with mucho corazón.
